What to Expect
In this class we will explore the foundations of mindfulness. Weekly discussions will include guided meditation with the intention of nurturing non-judgmental awareness. By the end of the series, students will have a deeper understanding of mindfulness and the confidence to continue practicing on their own.

Meet The Instructor
April Dávila attended her first day-long meditation retreat at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in 2002. Since then she has deepened her practice with a wonderful collection of teachers and sat several residential, silent retreats.
She is currently in the final stages of a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, studying under Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. When she's not meditating or riding bikes with her kids, she can usually be found at her desk writing fiction.
